Considering that the pumped storage power station has higher requirements for the seepage control of the upper reservoir, and that the curtain seepage control is not only a big investment, but also difficult to guarantee the seepage control effect, it is proposed in the feasibility study stage that it is preferable to adopt the structural form of seepage control for the surface of the whole reservoir basin in the upper reservoir. As the bottom of the upper reservoir is shaped by lowering the ridge between the two gullies and filling in the gullies, with a larger filling height of about 70 m, the problem of uneven settlement and deformation of the bottom of the reservoir is more prominent. In order to adapt to the effects of uneven settlement and deformation, it is preferable to use flexible seepage control for the bottom of the reservoir.
